Bloomingdale's Takes a Trip Through the Looking Glass

Odd, this window is pretty and safe - what I thought the movie would be - while the movie has an edge - what I thought the window should be. The Bloomingdale window would have been more visually dramatic if almost everything was more of a background in color (dark greens, metallic charcoal, and other shades of black with just a touch of blood red here and there.) The background should have been made to look grotesque via exaggerated size and shapes much like the shadows on a dim lit street. I would have loved to have seen the cheshire cat or a large hare bare its teeth in the background. Then the foreground could have been the pretty heroine poised to defend and clad in Sue Wong loveliness. As it stands now, Bloomy's window looks like an average scene from the Easter Day Parade: pleasant and cute.
